TASHUNKA’S RETURN 2002

The Lake Club, Far Hills, New Jersey

September 7, 2002

 

   Tom Boyer and his fiancée Joan Myers hosted a small gathering of former DeWitt people for the evening on Saturday, September 7.  We went to the Lake Club for a campfire and we were treated to a visit from Chief Tashunka and Princess Firefeet who regaled us with stories which were hauntingly familiar to most.  After the Chief blew taps from his canoe, we retired to Joan’s house to reminisce and plan a real reunion.

 

Among the attendees:  Tom Boyer, Jane Myers, Paula Boyer Kennedy, Tom & Connie Worth, Erin Worth & her family, Jenny Worth and her family (the Chief has 4 grandsons, by the way), Jon Block and his family, JT Moore, John Taylor and his family, Jake Hopkins, Al Kinney, Byron Kalogerou, Dan Collins, Dave Lyons and his significant other, Rob Davis and his significant other, David Beckman, and my apologies to anyone I failed to list here…
